1. Place the bed against a solid wall with the door visible
This is the command position — the bed should have solid backing and a clear diagonal view of the door without being directly in its path.
2. Move the bed off the direct door line
If the bed faces the door directly, shift it even a few inches to one side. A small offset breaks the direct line.
